Review of Padama Hotel, LimaAs a wildlife conservationist and safari guide from Nairobi, I recently found myself needing a brief stay at Padama Hotel due to an unexpected flight cancellation. The hotel's proximity to the airport is advantageous, ideal for late arrivals or early departures, especially considering Lima's notorious traffic. While the room was spacious enough and offered essential amenities such as air conditioning and free Wi-Fi, the decor felt dated and could benefit from an upgrade. Interestingly, despite its location in a busy area, the hotel provides a robust paid shuttle service that eases airport transfers, albeit with some initial communication difficulties. At a price of £45, including a round-trip shuttle to the airport, Padama represents solid value compared to pricier alternatives. While it's not a long-term destination, it serves its purpose well for a short stay. Do communicate clearly for your pickup to avoid mishaps.
